Emerald-cut moissanite stones take centre stage in the Emerald Cut Emerald Illusion Diamond Wedding Band, crafted in solid 10ct, 14ct or 18ct gold. The moissanite is graded D colour, VVS1 clarity, for a bright, clean sparkle. The emerald cut is a step cut. Instead of scattered sparkle it gives long, clean flashes of light, often called the hall-of-mirrors effect, for a quiet, Art Deco look. The illusion setting uses bright, polished metal around the stone to make it look larger.

No. Moissanite is its own gemstone (silicon carbide), not a diamond or a diamond simulant like cubic zirconia. It is extremely hard (9.25 on the Mohs scale) and has more fire, or rainbow sparkle, than diamond. It will not go cloudy or lose its sparkle over time.
The emerald cut is a step cut. Instead of scattered sparkle it gives long, clean flashes of light, often called the hall-of-mirrors effect, for a quiet, Art Deco look. Step cuts show clarity clearly, so a high-clarity stone is the best choice.
The illusion setting uses bright, polished metal around the stone to make it look larger.
18ct gold (75% pure gold) has the richest colour and a luxurious weight. 14ct gold (58.5% pure gold) is the most popular balance of colour, durability and value. 10ct gold (41.7% pure gold) is the hardest-wearing and most affordable option. Every option is solid gold all the way through, not plated.
White gold is finished with a bright rhodium plating. Over time, usually every 12 to 18 months with daily wear, it can soften to a warmer tone. Any jeweller can re-plate it quickly to restore the bright white finish.
