The diamonds are graded E-F colour, VVS-VS clarity, for a bright, clean sparkle. The emerald cut is a step cut. Instead of scattered sparkle it gives long, clean flashes of light, often called the hall-of-mirrors effect, for a quiet, Art Deco look. Claws hold the stone firmly while letting in as much light as possible.

White gold is finished with a bright rhodium plating. Over time, usually every 12 to 18 months with daily wear, it can soften to a warmer tone. Any jeweller can re-plate it quickly to restore the bright white finish.
