The Turquoise Sun Necklace is handcrafted in solid 10ct, 14ct or 18ct gold, set with sparkling turquoise stones. The bezel (rub-over) setting wraps each stone in a smooth rim of gold. It protects the edges and gives a sleek profile that will not catch on clothing.
It is an easy piece to wear every day, on its own or layered. Available in yellow, white or rose gold and chain lengths of 14–24 inches (36–61cm).
Wrapped in the middle of the pendant is a beautiful natural turquoise stone, known for its revitalizing colour and spiritual connotation. Diametrically measuring 7 mm, the sun pendant glows with an aura of fullness, representing life force, strength, and cyclical preservation. Bezel settings made of solid gold enclose the turquoise gemstone, with each bezel being 3 mm in size. This gives a subtle contrast and brings out the natural beauty of the turquoise.
Turquoise is 5–6 on the Mohs scale, which makes it softer than sapphire or diamond. It is lovely to wear often, but take it off for the gym, gardening and housework, and keep it away from perfume and cleaning products.

18ct gold (75% pure gold) has the richest colour and a luxurious weight. 14ct gold (58.5% pure gold) is the most popular balance of colour, durability and value. 10ct gold (41.7% pure gold) is the hardest-wearing and most affordable option. Every option is solid gold all the way through, not plated.
White gold is finished with a bright rhodium plating. Over time, usually every 12 to 18 months with daily wear, it can soften to a warmer tone. Any jeweller can re-plate it quickly to restore the bright white finish.
Choose from 14–24 inches (36–61cm). As a guide, 16 inches (41cm) sits at the collarbone, 18 inches (46cm) is the most popular length and sits just below it, and 20 to 24 inches (51–61cm) falls lower, which is ideal for layering or wearing over higher necklines.
Each piece is made to order. We craft and dispatch it within 4 working days, and tracked delivery usually takes around 4 more working days, so allow about 8 working days in total. Delivery is free and all taxes are included in the price shown, so there is nothing extra to pay when it arrives.
Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and dry it well. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners, harsh chemicals and sudden temperature changes, which can harm turquoise. Put it on last and take it off first, after perfume, make-up and lotions. Store it on its own in a soft pouch.

Remove your jewellery before swimming, cleaning or the gym. Clean gently with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth. Store each piece separately to prevent scratches.
